Phillip attended school at Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics. Phillip made a career change and got his Certified Peer Specialist certification through the Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network. Phillip, like many others, has also been through treatment. Beginning at the age of 13, going admitting into treatment, going through his teen and young adult years dealing with his own trauma. At the age of 30 Phillip completed rehab for substance abuse where he then became a Certified Peer Specialist for Mental Health. Since then, Phillip has worked in the mental health field, helping and guiding others, using his own lived experiences, to reach their own goals in life.

Phillip uses his own lived experiences, SMART Recovery, Trauma Informed Care and executive functioning skills to those in need of support. Phillip works closely with teens and adults from all walks of life, and specializes with those in the LGBTQIA+ community and those living with HIV/AIDS. Outside of work, Phillip enjoys eating at the best local restaurants and hidden gems all throughout Atlanta. Phillip also enjoys going on hikes, trips to the beach, going to concerts and singing horribly to karaoke. Phillip sits on the board of directors for a non-profit organization, Sharing Stops Suffering. He also volunteers at H.E.R.O for Children. Phillip is a graduate of the RESPECT institute and will always take the time out to help those in need of support.
