Joanna M. Shedden, M.S

Joanna is a graduate from Carlos Albizu University with a Masters in Psychology and specialty in Guidance and Counseling. She has extensive experience being a Guidance Counselor for students aged K-12, and also has experience as an Outreach Coordinator for a program that helps children with disabilities. Joanna was born to inspire people and motivate a person to achieve and believe in themselves. She’s been a highly effective counselor for over five years in Miami Dade Public School and is a Leader in Me advocate and Program Coordinator. Joanna has experience in many therapeutic techniques such as positive praise, cognitive behavior therapy, art therapy is used to achieve a positive outcome.

A counselor by day and singer by night, it’s no secret that Joanna loves to sing and write. She writes songs and constantly records music. She also loves to relax and unwind with her son and with friends. She frequently dines at up-and-coming restaurants and loves the rooftop lounge scene. She also loves to take her son to the arcade and play air hockey.
