Samahri Sutton-Jones

Samahri attended Southwestern College- KS, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Samahri is also a recent graduate with a Master of Arts in Special Education, with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University.
Samahri is a compassionate and purpose-driven professional with a background in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, and military service. She began her career in the military, where she developed strong skills in leadership, structure, and administrative coordination, which continue to inform her professional approach. She later transitioned into the behavioral health field as a behavior therapist and cognitive skills tutor, building a foundation in data-driven interventions and promoting independence. She went on to serve as a special education teacher, where she developed and implemented individualized education plans and supported students’ academic and social-emotional growth. She then expanded her impact as a case manager, providing advocacy and connecting individuals to essential resources such as housing and employment. Currently, she works as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and is actively pursuing her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Samahri specializes in working with adolescents and young adults who need support in building independence, improving behavior, and developing essential life skills.
During Samahri’s time in the United States Air Force, she earned the Air Force Achievement Medal in recognition of her leadership and performance. She was also recognized as Beginning Teacher of the Month for her impact on student growth and classroom success. In Applied Behavior Analysis, she earned her Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and has been approved to begin supervised fieldwork toward her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Outside of work Samahri enjoys spending time with her three year old son the most, specifically introducing him to new sports and activities. Outside of being a full time mother, Samahri’s main hobby is reading – with romance being her favorite genre. Samahri also enjoys shopping, visiting new coffee bars and simply hanging out with friends.
