Kimberly Martin, M. Ed

Kimberly’s career working as an Instructional Coach with learning disabilities and executive functioning coach gave her the ability to work closely with individuals who needed extra support in daily functions. Over the past five years, Kimberly has embarked in her own recovery journey that allowed her to develop her skills with things such as relapse prevention, trauma, and eating disorders. It brings Kimberly pride to be able to use her personal experiences to help others achieve success in their own journeys.

Kimberly works closely with young adults working through traumatic experiences with a focus on ADHD, OCD, and executive functioning. She also works closely with using mindfulness practices through fitness and goal setting. Finally, she utilizes wellness practices and strategies in working with recovery.

Kimberly was awarded teacher of the year in 2014 and also was recognized as a lead curriculum development writer in 2016 for DeKalb County. She was acknowledged for specializing in moving underperforming students from below grade levels into proficiency with with ELA in an academic setting. She most recently has worked with over 100 clients in a therapeutic setting for the past two years working to strengthen executive functioning and therapeutic goals.

In her free time, you can find Kimberly in a variety of places! First and foremost, she loves fitness! You can usually find her at boot camp early mornings before the sun comes up. She is a distance runner who has run 6 full marathons. She loves fancy coffees and all ethnic foods. Her dog Bella is her favorite friend who Kimberly rescued during the pandemic. She loves spending time journaling and writing short fiction.
