Grace Tinsley

Grace attended the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and received her bachelors degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Sculpture. Grace has experience working mostly with a wide range of young men and women in residential care. She has worked with clients who have experienced chronic trauma, grief, have disordered eating, a substance abuse diagnosis, those who have struggled with self harm, depression, anxiety, etc. The goal working with these clients has always been to ultimately support them with a transition back into their lives outside of residential care and to move forward with an excitement about living a happy, healthy and fulfilled life. Grace has supported clients in cultivating a sense of compassion and understanding for themselves as a base in order to learn and grow. She believes that the discovery of a client’s core values can provide a clear roadmap to support their journey of personal understanding and development. Grace is passionate about mindfulness, nutrition, holistic wellness, nature, the importance of movement and exercise, creating routines that both challenge and support the client, learning how to align actions with values, stress management, creating a supportive living environment, and cultivating self compassion and understanding.

Grace has lived through many life experiences, all of which have led her to this point. She has graduated from college, competed in a triathlon, lived in different countries, won a national award for her art and showed work in the Smithsonian museum, experienced what addiction can do within the family system, and so much more. She is a certified holistic health coach and has truly learned throughout her life the importance that balance can bring to living a life well-lived.

In her free time, Grace loves to hike with her dogs, find rivers to swim in, read, travel, create art, learn, connect with friends, cook nutritious meals, work in her garden, and enjoy the sunshine.
