Alison Sher studied Communications with a minor in Creative Writing from The Honors College at College of Charleston. She is the co-founder of the Homecoming Retreat – a 3 day symposium on holistic answers to addiction recovery. In 2020, she created Holistic Recovery – an online program educating people suffering from addictive tendencies on how to transform their lives. Alison has extensive experience in 12 Step Work, Somatic Experiencing / Feeling Work, Meditation and Life/Relationship Coaching.
Alison is a multiple-published author, social entrepreneur and land steward. When she is not helping clients at LifeTutors, she enjoys spending time in nature (the beach especially), dancing, working on her land, doing yoga, and being social. Alison has helped co-create over 12 books – serving as a writer and editor. In 2020, she purchased 3 acres of land in Marshall, NC and has since built herself a permaculture writer’s retreat, where she entertains guests in the winter. Her book “The Millennial’s Guide to Changing the World” earned a publishing deal from Skyhorse Publishing and debuted as a #1 Amazon New Release in the Ethnography section.
